As a result of unrelated scandals in Maryland, Vice President Spiro T. Agnew resigned in 1973. Nixon nominated, and Congress approved, House Minority Leader Gerald R. Ford as Vice President.
Faced with what seemed almost certain impeachment, Nixon announced on August 8, 1974, that he would resign the next day to begin "that process of healing which is so desperately needed in America."

I moved back to Colorado I was about 19 I was still concerned about being drafted
however they change my number and my draft status
I was on holding. which that they could change it any time if necessary I moved away from my parents into a small apartment when I
was 21. I was working at a health club as Porter ( janitor) was a good job for me had every other day off a LITTLE money to
pay my rent and buy beer (Budweiser) and some pot .What more could a 21 year old hippie want .however I was not single for very
long my first wife Terry ,with baby on the way we were married. I was not ready for marriage, and we were totally opposites she
was very conservative and I am very liberal. Among other problems we had ,however we had 2 wonderful children
Stacy and James .it was during this time I began to work at the airport restaurants warehouse. We eventually moved to Jacksonville
FL after many nights of fighting and arguing we decided to separate.
1975-1978
Early marriage years
I honestly believe to reason God makes people have children is so they can no longer afford drugs.
The thing about the divorce Don't people naturally gravitate towards people who are similar to them or have a shared cultural
background? even though I was at times we was not happy been married each other (we was not ready neither
one of us was going to give in and compromise),was also very sad to see the marriage end .I suppose that’s common especially knowing
that I would never had a relationship with my children. Such a strain between my in- laws. But I moved back to Colorado, we
were only married for four years It was now 1979
my regrets:
never knowing my children from that union Stacey and James never receiving pictures of them growing up

After many experiences that have tested me throughout my life, I have come to the conclusion that the purpose of adversity is to teach
us and make us stronger. If we are never challenged, we cannot grow spiritually, mentally, and emotionally.

NOTE: I probably suffered from sleeping disorder ever since childhood
Terry was a wonderful typical 18 year old girl ,she was full of life,and she had a wonderful since the humor.she also was an excellent
cook being from the South she certainly knew how to make wonderful southern cooking.she'd was an excellent wife
she
was very conservative she desperately wanted to the bedroom two-car garage .I was not in the position to give her nor
at the time did I really want myself .(not that I had an idea what I really wanted)
